CAS - Stash cards

Hi Everyone,

Okay so I had to step away from the Nilla Card Box Series so I could figure out how I am going to create a closure for the box.  I think I am going to go with a Chinese knot closure.  Maybe something like this but in black:

But we will see.

In the meantime I have been bus going through my stash, getting reacquainted with those items I have purchased over the years and did nothing with and I am having a blast making new friends with my supplies.

Lately I have reconnected with several sticker (friends) and we have been making beautiful projects together.  Some simple cards and even embellies for my cheating version of scrapbook pages. More on that later.

But today I want to share with you a set of cards using dimensional stickers and an addition to the CAS card series that is ongoing.  I am starting to embrace my CAS style so the series really isn't a series. Any who enough chatter chatter. Here are my cards.

(sorry about the glare on the bottom left card)

Aren't these the cutest!! They are dimensional stickers I found in the dollar store. I just placed the stickers on some MFT Kraft card stock, added some flatback white pearls and took a white gel pen and drew on a border and some white dots and that was it. Oh yeah, the sentiments, from AMY R, MFT, and a Mike's $1.50 bin special, I stamped in white Color box ink.

I am so in love with these cards.  These have a home they will be going to but I do have a few left over so I can make a set for myself.

So there you have it.

Until next time everybody

Kelli

Recycled Cereal Box Mini Album

I'm Hi Everyone,

So as things would have it, I got pulled onto a project at work which took away my free time for a lil while which explains my long absense.

Now the project I'm sharing with you today is not part of the series, it's a project that I was working on simultaneously using the same paper lines.

I am still on my "Use the Stash" mission and this is a result it.

Okay, so I think is the last project I will show using the DCWV Bella Boutique/La Creme collections for a lil while minus the Nilla Box series posts.  I need to work the other paper lines I have.  I feel like I'm getting into a rut and forgetting how to use color, lol.

Okay so here is the warning. There are A LOT of pictures!

And I even made a video about it.

Here is a video of the album:

This album will hold 34 photos (mostly 3x5) and 4 smaller ones & 8 tags to record dates, places, people, events, or whatever you can think of.

Because I have a lot of wonderful creations that I will need to sell some of my projects.  If you are interested in owning any of the projects I have/will post, please let me know, otherwise if you head over to my FB page you will see all of the items I have for sale.

So there you have it.  Until next time.  Have a great weekend!!

Kelli

SOC Project and CAS Card Series

Hi There,

So I needed to make a card for someone who is going through some things health wise and I came across Deconstructed Sketch #46 and thought that is would pair well with a sentiment/image I saw on Facebook.

Hubs and daughter gave me a gift card for Christmas and I was able to purchase some MME 6x6 packs on sale 50% off.  Yes I know this goes against using my stash but the gift card was in my stash and need to be use soon.  It works out in my mind; I'm sure someone else can see the logic.

Anywho here is the original sketch...

I turned the sketch on its side and used it that way.  I also matted everything with Kraft card stock, added a lil paper lace, some flat back pearls from the stash and a lil glossy accents on the image and I was done. I think it came out cute.

There always seems to be sentiments or quotes that I come across and think, that would be great on a card.  So in this case I printed the scripture and backed t with cereal box chipboard.  I have done this with several quotes with the intent of using them on cards or mini albums or any other project.

And there you have it, another card in the CAS series.  I really pray these cards inspire you to create with what you have around you.

Until next time...

Kelli
