Practical Scrapper Blog Hop Project - Wood

Hello Everybody,

The project I am sharing with you today is part of the Practical Scrapper Blog Hop.  Be sure to checkout the fantastic projects of these very talented women.  And be sure to play along because there is some pretty serious blog candy that could be yours!

This project is very special to me and dear to my heart!!

Real birch thin wood as the background was used. It was stained with burnished brass spray by Lindy's Stamp Gang. The same thin wood sheet was used to cut the doily (Cheery Lane Designs). It was distressed with Gesso. The wood sentiment used was by Recollections. The wood button was punched with a Marvy button punch. The twine is from Trendy Twine.

For very special reasons to me, I am so in love with this card!!  This card makes me think of my BFF who is the best woman, sister, partner is Christ I could ever have!!  LOVE you dearly, Sis!!!  Thank you for all that you do and for who you are!! You are the robot to my dance and the peanut butter to my jelly!! <3>

So there you have it everyone. Be sure to visit the other women on this blog hop.

Practical Scrapper Ten Things DT Project - Eyelets

Hi Everyone,

The project I am sharing with you today is a Practical Scrapper DT project.  The challenge was ten different ways to use eyelets.  I love to use eyelets to help with my closures.  It keeps my ties/ribbons in place and reenforces the holes that I make in my projects.  I made a 3x3 card holder that is perfect to hold cards when you need to something to accompany a gift.I find 3x3 are big enough to write something to the recipient with out taking away from the gift.

I made 5 cards and 5 envelopes to fit the cards and created the holder that the cards are place in.  These cards holder (can also substitute cards for tags) are great thank you gift ideas, nice stocking stuffer ideas (Christmas is coming), perfect for co-workers, teachers, guests, you name.  Everyone has a use for these cards.

A really quick project that can be mass produced.  So there you have it.  Thank you stopping by to see what new project I was working on and i pray you stop by again soon.  So until next time...

Practical Scrapper Ten Things Project - Border Punch Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Today I am sharing with you my Practical Scrapper DT project; a card that features a flower created by using a border punch. And here is my card...

I used Colorbok's Rosewood collection to create the flower and for the background paper to give it a aged feel and an array of embellishments.

So there you have. I had a lot of fun making this flower and I love how it looks as the main embellishment.  I can see making many more of these flowers.  The great part about these flowers is that there are flat enough to send through the mail without extra postage for the bulk.

Thanks for stopping by everyone and I will see you next time with another project.
