The Bestest Birthday Ever!!!

Hi Everyone,

So today, 11/14 is my birthday.  I am officially one year older and proud of all the years I have been blessed to see.  This has by far been the bestest birthday ever!!!

My hubby was born blind and after multiple surgeries before the age of 4 (7 I think), he was blessed with sight!!  He went from being blind to having cataracts that developed into glaucoma but with sight.  Well years have gone by and he has had few more surgeries including having his left eye removed and a prosthetic now in its place.  Because of this he has been declared legally blind though he does have vision with glasses.

There are little things that we take for granted that he is unable to do like read a book at a normal distance. Normal for him may be 3 or 4 inches in front of him. Forget about driving, that is out of the question, or so we thought.  Today he saw a doctor that gave him the world back.  Starting Friday, with all the advances in the optical field, he will be able to wear a contact lens and will have the green light, for the first time in his life, to get his driver's license.

I am so overjoyed!!!!!  I can't stop shedding tears of joy at just the thought of it all!  I am so so SO happy for him.  Needless to say he is on cloud nine!!  We have been praying for God to move and grant him healing for at least 4 years now.  But, blessings delayed are not blessings denied!  To some this may not seem like much but for someone who has never been able to do things, the chance to be able to live a more "normal" life, this is a miracle!!!!

I am so over the moon right now!  This gift of increased sight is the bestest gift ever!!!!  It is better than anything I could have asked for.

If you have asked God for healing in your life and it has not manifested, I encourage you to stay & stand strong; keep praying.  It's coming!
